Mic check… you still there? It’s been a while!

The past month has been a blur for me, I had…

  • 1 funeral

  • 1 wedding (full circle at least)

  • 1 birthday trip

  • 1 company offsite (out of the country)

  • and 1 last minute performance

Between all of this, work @ beehiiv, my training clients, and my artist project, I chose to put a hold on Sunday Coffee so that I could keep my sanity.

Sunday Coffee was always meant to be a place where I could share my most exciting learnings from years of training experience. It’s a passion project.

But lately, writing Sunday Coffee has become unfulfilling and felt like more of a job for me than anything else. Reading my posts back, they aren’t inspiring or exciting at all - and I haven’t felt like they’d be truly helpful to anyone.

I don’t want that.

Good writing comes from passion, from having your heart in it.

Kobe knew it well - true passion is infectious in everything that you do.

Anyone can regurgitate and explain information, but giving your words an energy, a life - that comes from something deeper.

So I’m changing the course of Sunday Coffee to focus solely on putting out my best writing on the things I’m passionate about.

The main topics I’ll be covering moving forward will be:

  • Artistry and Creativity - learning to live as an artist

  • Athletic training and reaching for a goal - recovering from an achilles tear, training for endurance events, and working play into daily life

  • Building something powerful and meaningful - this newsletter, my 1:1 coaching business, and my artist project all are born from a focus on making what you’re passionate about your life

Sunday Coffee will be sent out every Sunday morning once again moving forward - as a newsletter with an audio component if you’d rather listen.

Write about what makes you feel alive.

Talk about it everywhere.

The world needs passion.

I’m pumped for this change - I think it’s gonna lead to something powerful.

Have already been heads down making changes to the website to reflect this, and will continue making changes to the newsletter to do so as well.

Follow your energy,

Dane
